  ICT Leaders met with Government Chief Information Officer
 
Cyberport tenants and industry professionals gathered at a networking event at Cyberport on July 22 to meet with Jeremy Richard Godfrey, the new Government Chief Information Officer.

Around 30 ICT leaders participated in the event organized by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association and Cyberport Tenants Club, with support from Cyberport, Communications Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association, the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation and the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association.

John Chiu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association and Wilson Hon, Vice-Chairman of the Cyberport Tenants Club, led the ICT Leader Networking event with some welcoming remarks. Cyberport was represented by Mark Clift, Chief Operating Officer.

Cyberport shortlisted for Green Building Award
   
Cyberport has been selected as one of ten finalists for the Professional Green Building Council's Green Building Award (GBA) 2008 in its Existing Building category.

Chosen from over 100 entrants, the GBA recognizes outstanding project teams with excellent contribution towards sustainability and the conservation of the environment. It also promotes green innovations in planning, design, construction, maintenance and renovation.
