With the global
economy undergoing some of the most profound disruptions of our time, there is
understandably great anxiety about where the economy is headed in the near term.
During this difficult period, I want to reassure you that Cyberport continues to
be well positioned in weathering the storm ahead, and remains committed to
fulfilling its mission of becoming the region's premier creative digital
community.
We have been successfully promoting the development of the city's creative
industries, a goal the Chief Executive emphasized in his recent Policy Address,
by leveraging on the synergy of our diverse tenants from small local start-ups
to global multinationals. |

Cyberport TV
portal expands hub's multimedia reach |

Cyberport has
recently expanded its multimedia offerings with the launch of Cyberport TV, an
online portal facilitating the diverse distribution of both Cyberport and
non-Cyberport content.
The portal will feature engaging and enriching multimedia materials such as
Cyberport events, education seminars, training workshops, forums in addition to
plenty of entertainment including games, animation, and performances of music
and songs. |

join Cyberport IncuTrain Centre |

Ten new incubatee
companies have just signed up with Cyberport IncuTrain Centre, the city's
training ground for the development of start-up companies, which has, for some
years, contributed to the growth of the city's creative digital community. Phase
two of the Centre's incubation programme was given the green light following
approval of HK$25 million in funding from the Hong Kong government. |

wines at Cyberport's "When Wine Meets Cocktail" event over the weekend of June
6-7, to be held at the Ocean View Court, The Arcade, Cyberport.
The afternoon event on June 6 will showcase the world of Italian wines and
spirits, allowing participants to savour some Italian fare and taste Italy's
