Cyberport incubatee Timable earns recognition for its work |
Cyberport incubatee Timable was awarded merit prize at the Top Ten.hk website
competition in recognition of its platform's innovation, look-and-feel, ease of
navigation, web care and interactivity among other elements.
"We are tremendously honoured to have earned this award given that most of the
awardees are well established organizations with solid foundation and much
popularity. We believe this award will boost our future growth," said Timable's
co-founder Sam Yuen.
"I am thrilled to see a Cyberport incubatee receive such deserved recognition. This award also shows that our incubatees are indeed flourishing, and that they
really are benefitting from our training and support," added Herman Lam, Cyberport's CEO.
Founded in 2010, Timable.com is a platform that aggregates information on
leisure and cultural events, and allows users to perform date and time specific
event searches, with the aim of helping them make better use of their time.
Timable was admitted to the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF)'s second pilot
scheme in March 2011. After graduation from CCMF in September same year, Timable
applied and admitted to the 2-year Incubation Programme of Cyberport starting
from December 2011.
