Cyberport leads delegation to China's largest software fair

Cyberport led a 54 person strong delegation to the China International Software & Information Service Fair 2013, China’s largest software fair, in June.

The delegates included representatives from Hong Kong companies and institutions, including Government officials, speakers, exhibitors and other ICT association representatives.  Winners of the HK ICT awards, including Cyberport incubatee and alumni, showcased their ICT products and services at the Hong Kong Pavillion.  This gave them a platform on which to explain their businesses and facilitated collaborative opportunities with Mainland and international ICT ventures.

Concurrently, the "Mainland & Hong Kong IT Forum" was held with Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) of HKSAR Government and Vice Mayor of Dalian Municipal Government as Guests of Honour.  The Forum, with over 150 participants, discussed how Hong Kong as a good partner for any businesses to go for mainland and international markets.

"Participation in China's largest national software fair is an invaluable opportunity for companies to network and showcase their products and services whilst also learning more about their peers in China and internationally.  It was a very successful fair.  I look forward to seeing our Hong Kong companies leverage on what they learnt and work closer with Mainland China in the future," said Herman Lam, CEO of Cyberport.
