Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Banff Centre, Canada and Cyberport

To step up Cyberport's effort in fostering the development of Hong Kong's digital entertainment industry, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between The Banff Centre, a renowned Canadian-based arts, cultural, and education institution, and Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited on Thursday, 19 January 2006 at Hong Kong Cyberport.

Guests-of-Honour at the ceremony include the Hon. Victor Doerksen, Minister of Alberta Innovation and Science, Ms Mary Hofsteller, President and CEO of the Banff Centre, Mr. Howard Dickson, Government Chief Information Officer of the Government of the HKSAR and Mr. Nicholas Yang, CEO of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. Ms Hofsteller and Mr. Yang will also elucidate details of the collaboration and the Cyberport IncuTrain Centre will be open to the media for the first time.
