Enjoy Christmas with Pop-up Stores, 3D Xmas Lab and Nice Gift

This Christmas, Sesame Street fan favourites Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie monster will descend upon The Arcade’s Sesame Street “Xmas Feast”, for the first time as toddlers, bringing with them a dazzling display of the Rotating Elmo Christmas Cake, a magical Macaroon Christmas Tree and the adorable Christmas Cookie Train. Aside from the Sesame Street inspired pop-up stores, children are also welcome to join our “3D Xmas Feast” on 19^th & 20^th to experience various fun-filled activities such as 3D printing and coding, whilst reveling in all the Christmas joy Sesame Street has to bring.

Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster invite you to attend the ultimate Christmas party, promising an abundance of candy and cookie!

Photo Spot One: A 4.5m high Rotating Elmo Cake-

An adorable Elmo makes his appearance atop a 4m cake, taking centre stage in this holiday season. The cake will find its home in the centre of the Ocean View Court, and Elmo will twirl once every hour from two till six in the afternoon, stealing the spotlight along with the incomparable designs of the three-tiered cake.

Photo Spot Two: The 5m high Macaroon Christmas tree- This dainty French dessert is decorated with colourful baubles and miniature presents, in the form of a 4 tiered, 5 meters high Sesame Street inspired Christmas tree. It sure does add a certain Sesame Street Christmas spirit to The Arcade.

Photo Spot Three: The Christmas Cookie Train-

Elmo goes behind the wheel as he charges the Christmas Cookie Train spreading joy through to the third floor. We welcome fellow Christmas revelers to join in the fun and have a Sesame Christmas.

Sesame Street Pop-Up Store brings home the limited goods

Not only can you do a selfie with fellow Sesame Street pals and the marvelous Christmas displays, The Arcade also props up a Pop-Up Store featuring all the goodies, in particular an exclusive themed-lamp with a 3D crystal puzzle and exclusively sold Sesame Street earphones packages. Furthermore, an array of themed-home products such as cups, bowls, chopsticks, ceramic cups, thermos and stainless steel pots are also up for grabs, making this your chance to celebrate a Sesame Street Christmas with heaps of fanfare.

Giant-sized Elmo mascot surprises you with opportunity for photographs

A giant-sized Elmo mascot will be roaming the halls of The Arcade on December 12^th, 19^th, 25^th to 27^th, providing fans a chance to cherish the moment forever by striking a pose with the lovable character.

Limited to Christmas- Gift Redemption

Following the motto shop till you drop? Spend up to $1,000 (with presentation of two receipts from different shops) in The Arcade from 5^th December 2015 to 10^th January 2016 allows you to redeem a pair of fluffy Elmo slippers (sizes 36 to 37), keeping your feet warm amidst the festivities.

3D Xmas Lab

It’s no surprise we aim to bring people tidings during Christmas time, but what if a bland Christmas card no longer does the trick? Why not visit The Arcade on 19^th & 20^th December to join our 3D Xmas Feast. You can learn how to design and make a 3D Christmas card using the techniques of 3D printing and design the card yourself (19^th December), or use CODING to compose and create interesting computer games and apps as presents for your loved ones (20^th December) at Fun Institute. Spend up to $200 (single receipt) in The Arcade from 1^st December can earn you a seat. Adults and children can also team up for 3 rounds of non-stop fun at 3D Battles – and winning teams will take home early Xmas gifts!

The Sounds of Christmas

What’s Christmas without a spot of singing? On the Saturday afternoon of December 12^th at 3pm, the Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir will delight us with carols and anthems, along with traditional Xmas snacks and mulled wine so that you can see, hear and taste the season.
