The popular characters from Sesame Street including Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster are here to stay, extending their exhilarating stint over Christmas, however this time round, they’ll be sporting a brand new look in honour of the Year of Monkey!

Apart from the Sesame Street Manor and the Cherry Blossom Tree, which brings prosperity to all, the red pockets are also styled with a Sesame Street theme, a sure fire hit amongst adults and kids. The Arcade also features a Customised Hui Chun Design Booth, enabling all to design one-of-a-kinds Hui Chun to bring home for decoration. With an array of exciting festivities, this is certainly a treat for everyone!

The classic Sesame Street returns! Spend Lunar New Year at the Sesame Street Manor

As the Lunar New Year approaches, The Arcade will once again welcome the classic Sesame Street decoration, with favourite characters Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and the rest of the cast to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. Elmo and the rest of the cast will also decorate and congregate in their home, the Sesame Street Manor, making sure it’s New-Year-ready for all to be immersed in the festive environments. Furthermore, The Arcade will also feature a Cherry Blossom Tree starting from the end of January, come and walk past it for a bit of luck for the coming year, and it’ll ensure you a prosperous future, akin to the joy and luck the Sesame Street characters bring with them.

The 4-meter “Festive Elmo” wish you a Happy New Year ahead at the front doors!

A giant 4-meter high, inflatable “Festive Elmo” will be welcoming all at the front doors to wish everyone a great year ahead. Elmo will also bring along with him chocolate cupcakes, and a picture with him will sure rub some of his luck on you!

“Blessings for Lunar New Year with Sesame Street” Classic and Limited editions red packets

It simply wouldn’t be Lunar New Year without an eye-catching and practical red packet. The Arcade has designed two Lunar New Year-themed Sesame Street red packets, and have printed the adorable faces of the characters on its classic and limited editions. The classic edition features Elmo cutely waving to everyone, welcoming all to join him and begin a Sesame Street New Year Journey.

Redemption method: From 16^th January to 7^th February, spend up to $100 worth of electronic money (Credit Card / EPS / Octopus) (one-time spending) at The Arcade to redeem a set of classic edition Sesame Street-themed red packets. Daily quota applies.

The limited edition, on the other hand, features Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster all in Tang costumes, with Cookie Monster’s cookie jar even spilling out golden coins! The special edition has also undergone a cute and environmentally friendly design, with a Sesame Street-themed Hui Chun conveniently tugged inside the red packet. Spend up to $1,000 worth of electronic money (must accumulate 2 receipts from different shops) between 30^th January and 7^th February (Saturday and Sunday) and redeem a set of limited edition red packets. Only 50 sets available per day, act fast!

Members of Sesame Street wish you a Happy New Year at “Customised Hui Chun Design Booth

Longing for more than just a picture with the adorable Elmo? The Arcade has introduced and installed the brand-new “Customised Hui Chun Design Booth” for all to enjoy. Not only can you device your own wishes, once paired with Sesame Street characters, an exclusive Hui Chun will be born. Print it or send it electronically to friends and families, let them know they’re in your prayers this year.

 “Customised Hui Chun Design Booth” will be available every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm till 6pm, from 23^rd January to 6^th February. No cost needed and anyone can attend (50 places per day).

Elmo Roving Take a picture of this joyous occasion

Elmo will make an appearance at The Arcade to wish everyone a prosperous new year on every Sunday afternoon from 24^th January till 21^st February. On the day before Lantern Festival, not only will he be bringing presents and confectionaries, he’ll also be celebrating with everyone with lion dances and acrobatic shows in The Arcade, along with traditional New Year stalls and the Money God also making a special appearance.
