Description :
Global Mobility Laboratory (HK) Ltd. (GML-HK) envisions itself to transform and optimize healthcare resources through leveraging Computer Vision and Serious Games with Big Data-analytics. Its mission is to design and deliver effective learning and training solutions through Serious Games, gaining knowledge insights by analyzing performance data for the neuro impaired and ageing population in the healthcare industry. GML-HK aspires to be the market leader in “Artificial Intelligence-driven Serious Games and Computer Vision for Healthcare.”
With the global phenomena of increasing ageing population, especially noticeable in Asia, and the current COVID pandemic situation with the aged being the most vulnerable group, in-home rehabilitation services are not only required by the elderly COVID-19 survivors with underlying health problems but as much by the larger general elderly population. GML-HK believes REHABILITY, an AI-driven healthcare-game is the solution to revolutionize the rehabilitation of neurodegenerative diseases. REHABILITY, an “Artificial Intelligence-driven” suite of serious games and computer vision for rehabilitation offers physiotherapists and their patients a mixture of hardware, virtual games and service. The hardware provided consists of a 3D camera which tracks the full body movement of the user on a touchless input basis and a computing device. The virtual games are delivered on the Software-as-a-Service Platform without the need for the physical presence of the therapist in planning out each physiotherapy session. Rehability distinctively processes the gameplay data streams via its AI analytics backend systems with its cloud provider. The “Artificial Intelligence-driven Serious Games and Computer Vision for Healthcare” algorithms then enable the automatic adjustment of the daily elderly exercise plan while keeping the elderly motivated, challenged and engaged. Ultimately, the AI algorithm will have the ability to predict elderly falls, well in advance and create an intervention plan as part of the Healthy Ageing theme.
