Railway Operation Professional Training Course

Introduction

This is a 12-hours comprehensive railway operation training course for candidates to become a professional engineer on Railway in Design, Safety and System Operation and Management. The training course is to give a comprehensive information on the railway engineering system of the world and also go into the principle, railway system technology, signaling, control theory as well as an environmental benefits on electrically powered system, using renewable energy generated by hydroelectric and wind-powered facilities.

Course details covered:

  • Key engineering systems for operating modern and sophisticated railway network (Rolling Stock [trains], Signaling, Traction Power, Renewable Energy, Communications and Control);
  • Key engineering systems for managing an efficient and effective modern railway network - Risk Management, Hazard Management, System Assurance Management and Environmental Policy to help its reduce the carbon footprint.
  • Key engineering systems for maintaining a first-class railway throughout its operating life – Lifecycle Costing incl. Recyclable and Biodegradable materials, Technological upgrade, Asset Replacement and Customer Liaison Groups.
