AwesomeShip is an application that helps online merchant and their customers track their packages in an easier manner. AwesomeShip will actively notify customers of the latest shipping status directly via SMS, Twitter, Facebook or emails in their languages. Online customers no longer need to know the tracking numbers nor courier’s websites and track the delivery status from time to time. Online merchants can also keep an eye on the overall shipping performance (e.g. delivered, delayed or lost packages) and improve customer services. AwesomeShip targets small to medium sized online merchants worldwide – by offering free services to the small merchants and charging a low monthly fee, we hope to make this service available to more customers.

Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event which focuses on building a web or mobile application which could form the basis of a credible business over the course of a weekend. AwesomeShip will represent Hong Kong to present its idea to the world in Demo Asia in February 2012.

Global Startup Battle is a global competition organized and supported by Startup Weekend, working in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week. The winner will get a Table at Launch Pad at the Launch Conference (San Francisco) to meet the top investors in Silicon Valley in March 2012.
