Calling for entries: The HSBC x HKET Innovative Business Award 2019

Cyberport community start-ups and companies can now enter into the HSBC x HKET Innovative Business Award to vie for the “Innovative SME” or “Innovative Startup” accolade.

 

The Award, now in its second edition, recognises and celebrates local businesses that embrace and thrive through innovation and technology – no matter they are tech start-ups or legacy companies.

 

SMEs and start-ups that have achieved “successful business transformation via technology and innovation” or “invented new products, services, or business models” are eligible to enter.

 

Entries will be evaluated by their degree of innovation, application of technology, market positioning and competitive edge, and commercial viability.

 

Aside from gold, silver, and bronze awards, “Innovative SMEs” will receive up to HK$500,000 worth of advertisements on HKET, while “Innovative Startups” will receive total cash prizes of up to HK$500,000.

 

In addition, all eligible applicant companies will enjoy a three-month free subscription to hket.com and free attendance to a networking session in coming August organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council.

 

The Award is jointly organised by HSBC Commercial Banking and the Hong Kong Economic Times, where Cyberport is a Lead Partner.
