GoBuddy up to explore a world of bespoke experiential activities
Those who love to join or offer new off-the-beaten-track local experiences can now turn to GoBuddy, an app recently launched by Budd Technology Limited, a technology-driven start-up graduated from Cyberport Creative Micro Fund programme with a vision to become the global leader in experiential business.
The platform integrating mobile app and web-based management system showcases a range of bespoke experiential activities, such as workshops, tours, and food and sports events offered by various hosts and vendors. Locals and non-locals alike can easily find and book a one-of-a-kind experience through the platform.
For those in the experiential sectors, Budd’s platform makes it easy for them to create, own, conduct, and grow their business without having to build or invest heavily in digital infrastructure. Vendors simply need to subscribe to enjoy all of the basic features to support business operations, as well as the data analytics and reporting. It also provides exclusive sales channels to the vendors.
GoBuddy was showcased at the RISE Conference 2019, CX Tech Week, and HKTDC Entrepreneur Day and the start-up is now continuing its incubation journey at Cocoon Hong Kong.
Budd is also strengthening its AI and machine learning capabilities and is building its regional presence in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia. It is currently exploring opportunities with different corporations, community spaces, clubs and societies, and associations to acquire sales channels. Partners acquired include Dream Impact, Malaysian Association of Hong Kong, and Future City Summit to accelerate the growth of the business.
