Cyberport-Olive X clinches Super Bowl at annual Club I.T. Sports HK 2019 ![]() Professionals of the IT sector, including start-ups, banks, and telecom companies, came together this summer for another exhilarating and action-packed edition of the annual Club I.T. Sports HK games. Aside from having some intra-sector fun through tournaments in badminton, basketball, bowling, golf, table tennis, tennis, and football, industry peers used the occasion to connect, catch up, and practice healthy living.
The Cyberport team has always been a top contender in the basketball tournament – just last year, it outdid all competing teams and snatched the Super Bowl title. This year, after playing against 4 teams out of 11 teams in the five-on-five full-court qualifiers and in the play-offs, Cyberport-Olive X scored gold and successfully defended the title.
Both times, the Cyberport team was led by Keith Rumjahn, who is the founder of Olive X, a start-up that produces a smart mirror that offers an immersive and interactive fitness coaching experience to users. He is also the founder of Coachbase, a popular digital platform for basketball training and practice planning, also the same team that won the basketball games for Cyberport last year. In addition to winning the top title, Kelvin Ng, earned MVP honours.
“We are grateful for the support by Cyberport - not just on incubation and business opportunities, but also on physical health related sports. The Club I.T. Sports HK games offer a fantastic opportunity for Hong Kong’s tech professionals to get together, connect, and have fun,” said Keith Rumjahn.
Cyberport congratulates Olive X and Keith on their deserved win. With one of the tech focuses on esports, Cyberport encourages industry peers to play sports for good. Way to go team!
