Further to the FinTech training programme for financial practitioners
launched by the Cyberport Academy earlier this year, Cyberport
continues to enrich FinTech related in-depth knowledge with a new
programme of “Blockchain and RegTech Speaker Series”.
As the FinTech industry grows at speed in recent years, Cyberport
is seeing more tech entrepreneurs leverage blockchain to help financial
institutions support asset allocations, strengthen backend management
and optimise compliance procedures. To accelerate the
digitalisation of the financial industry and promote the understanding
of both blockchain and RegTech, Cyberport organises a series of deep
dive sessions to demystify these trending technologies, share local use
cases and experience, and help industry practitioners make the best out
of it.
From August to October, a set of 10 free webinars for professional
practitioners will be hosted every Wednesday featuring local blockchain
and RegTech experts.

covered are all pertinent to the developments and applications in the
global financial industry today, including the application of blockchain
technology to drive the digital transformation of capital markets,
create new business opportunities, and streamline enterprise workflow,
as well as how RegTech can help prevent non-compliant transactions.
To foster business adoption and collaboration with financial
institutions, Cyberport will soon be staging online Demo Days,
showcasing an array of RegTech, InsurTech, blockchain, wealth
management, and legal technology solutions from promising Cyberport
start-ups.
