TELEPORT Immersive to redefine digital entertainment with experience centre in Central

Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) grantee, TELEPORT Immersive Limited, is about to redefine digital entertainment with the debut of the world’s most high tech experience centre in Central. The 5,000 sq. ft. venue will showcase the latest tech innovations and art media “through a cinematic escape into the far-fetched future”.

By utilising emerging technologies such as AI, facial recognition, robotics, AR, 3D printing, projection mapping, and computational design and by collaborating with global new media artists, TELEPORT will enable visitors to experience first-hand a futuristic environment once possible only in science fiction.

As Edward Eremyan, TELEPORT’s founder, explained: “TELEPORT wants to present real-life science-fiction through full-body immersion and interaction. Our mission is to be the first innovative platform for experiential, genre-bending, one-of-a-kind multimedia art exhibitions and explorations. The exhibition will provide a holistic journey at the intersection of art and science and create spontaneous, deeply interactive experiences that the participants will love.”

Taking immersive technologies to the max, TELEPORT will even incorporate customer data and exhibition analytics into the display. For example, emotions felt at different parts of the exhibition, attention zones at different touchpoints, and a customer experience (CX) score will be displayed to each visitor for them to review their journeys as they come back to reality.

TELEPORT has already received seed funding and sponsorship from various entities, and is also working with local tech and tourism officials to give extra legs to the project.

The experience centre is slated for launch in Q2 2021 (with plans for another one in Singapore in Q4). Early-bird tickets will be available on the start-up’s website in late February, followed by registration for the experience in April.
