AerospaceTS makes flight simulation experience accessible to public

⋯⋯⋯⋯

Professionally flying an aircraft entails years of study, practice, and passing biannual license renewal exams. While flight simulators provide pilots access to training courses, these devices are often very expensive, costing more than HK$10,000 per hour. But now, Aerospace Training Solutions Limited has come up with a low-cost flight simulator that can be used not only by pilots or cadets, but also by any aviation enthusiast.

Currently Asia’s sole flight simulation provider, the AerospaceTS provides a range of flight entertainment experiences starting at just less than HK$2,000 per hour. Its homegrown, first-rate technology, which has earned it an official license from Airbus, recreates the Airbus A321neo cockpit, bringing users a step closer to the fascinating world of commercial airline operations. With highly qualified instructors, ultra-responsive controls, and a realistic in-flight environment, AerospaceTS combines fun and professionalism within its aircraft simulator.

The flight simulation experience provider is the brainchild of two former Cathay Dragon captains. Introduced to the market in 2021, the airline-grade training equipment applies a fundamental concept in civil aviation safety—redundancy, helping pilots anticipate and prepare for changing conditions in a more cost-effective way. According to the founders, it is essentially envisioned to serve both the professional airline community and the general public by blending aviation and infotainment.

This year, the company plans to venture into the academic field, leveraging its pool of aviation experts to expand its commercial aviation edutainment offerings as well as contribute to advancing the next generation’s aviation know-how.
