Divit is a FinTech start-up from Cyberport that has created a strategy to upgrade the basic Faster Payment System (FPS) into a cost-effective platform for payments, marketing, and loyalty programmes for merchants. Additionally, the solution enables consumers to earn Asia Miles as they shop and spend their mileage points on a wide variety of purchases.
The start-up’s solution consists of three main components. To begin with, Divit assists brick-and-mortar and online merchants in adding FPS to their payment options, providing greater customer convenience while increasing their profit margins by reducing the cost of credit card processing.
Customers earn Divit Miles when they make payments through Divit, which can be instantly converted to Asia Miles at 1:1 instantly or used to pay for other purchases at the Shop by Divit or donated to Divit’s partner charities. Divit Miles currently engage 12 million Cathay members, where merchants can tailor miles rewards to achieve their commercial objectives and build their own customer loyalty.
Since the start-up’s inception in 2021, Divit members have earned over 1.3 million miles and spent over 1.5 million miles. As Divit strives to become the world's most rewarding loyalty programme, the company is in discussions with other loyalty programmes to offer merchants and customers even more support and benefits.
