Butler Asia signed MoU with Jones Lang LaSalle to integrate PropTech SaaS across portfolio

⋯⋯⋯⋯

Butler Asia, a Cyberport PropTech start-up, has signed an MoU with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), the global real estate services giant. The partnership will facilitate the integration of Butler’s SaaS system and PropTech platform across JLL’s portfolio of 50,000 residential and commercial units.

This collaboration builds on JLL’s existing use of Butler’s AI system to provide automated customer services to property clients. JLL can now offer round-the-clock service with fewer personnel, automatically log requests for easy follow-up, and collect data for service-level analysis. The system has enhanced JLL’s property management and improved services for occupants.

Butler has grown substantially since its launch. By targeting an industry in desperate need of digital transformation, the start-up has achieved a staggering 9,000% growth in end-users in 18 months, securing several blue-chip real estate companies as clients. Its adaptive technology meets the needs of various property types, spanning commercial, retail, residential, and public housing.

The benefits offered by Butler are evident. A typical estate with 1,000 households receives about 600 enquiries per month, which require around 20 staff to resolve. Most estates lack such personnel, resulting in many unresolved enquiries and resident dissatisfaction. Standard SaaS systems on the market can cut this manpower requirement in half, but with Butler’s SaaS system, staffing can be further reduced to just five.

As its co-founders explained, Butler’s mission is to augment real estate management with AI, data, and SaaS capabilities. Client communication is conducted through WhatsApp, with conversational commands replacing mobile app functions. On the backend, an AI-powered SaaS system assists property teams in operating with insight and efficiency, from managing fees, tracking FAQ trends, and generating maintenance reports to staffing, converting inquiries into digital tickets with AI-assigned urgency levels, and recommending appropriate resolutions.

Aside from JLL’s MoU, Butler has inked an agreement with Henderson Land to provide PropTech solutions to 29 buildings under The H Collection.
