Cyberport signs MoU with Beijing International Data Exchange to explore collaborative establishment of high-value data infrastructure to accelerate data flow

At the 26th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium – Beijing- Hong Kong Digital Economy Industry Development on end November, 2023, Cyberport and Beijing International Data Exchange formed a partnership to explore the joint establishment of high-value data infrastructure to accelerate data flow, and strengthen the support for forefront technology development and innovation, promoting the development of digital economy industry and smart city building. The collaboration also aims to address key issues such as enterprise data interchange and transactions, security compliance, fair distribution of proceeds, and financing of data assets.  Both sides strive to promote institutional collaboration and talent exchange between Beijing and Hong Kong, contributing to the development of digital economy industry.

 

Established in March 2021 by Beijing Financial Holdings Group, Beijing International Data Exchange is a key initiative in Beijing to build the "Demonstration Zones in Support of Service Industry Opening-up" and the "China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone" in the field of digital economy.

 

On the same occasion, Beijing Dark Horse Technology Group held a plaque unveiling ceremony to mark its landing at Cyberport. Dark Horse Technology (Hong Kong) will set up a one-stop service institution in Beijing and Hong Kong to provide comprehensive support for digital economy enterprises in both regions, advance internationalisation of business, and promote cooperation among domestic and foreign companies in the field of digital economy.
