ITsci and Bridge AI shine at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

⋯⋯⋯⋯

Cyberport Incubatees ITsci and Bridge AI have respectively garnered the "Silver Medal Award" at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva with their AI-Powered Virtual Immunocytochemistry and the emotion prediction wearable device "Pelios". Their achievements have been internationally recognised!

ITsci's AI-Powered Virtual Immunocytochemistry technology, has been developed to enable faster and more robust fine-needle aspiration biopsy diagnostics than the traditional veterinary pathology tools.  Last year they got a gold with jury’s recommendation (top category) at the Geneva Invention Exhibition.

On the other hand, Bridge AI's wearable emotion prediction device "Pelios" uses a bracelet sensor to collect real-time physiological data from SEN students, allowing parents and teachers to more effectively predict students' emotions at school or at home and respond appropriately.

Established in 2019, Bridge AI is the first and only AI-powered individualised learning system in Hong Kong, revolutionizing therapy for children with SEN.  The Bridge AI system is a groundbreaking collaboration between Bridge AI and the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, integrating AI and IoT technology.  The start-up has received more than 10 prestigious awards, including recognition in competitions like the Asia Social Innovation Award 2020, JUMPSTARTER IdeaPOP! 2021, and the Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days 2024 and 2022.

Cyberport is thrilled to see the international recognition of the scientific research results of Cyberport start-ups that fuels Hong Kong’s journey towards an international I&T hub.
