Cyberport Investors Network engaged with start-ups at Cyberport Pitch Day

The Cyberport Investors Network (CIN) has held the Cyberport Pitch Day event in early June, engaging local and regional investors to enhance fundraising and deal-making capabilities of Cyberport start-ups.

The "Cyberport Pitch Day: Invest in Tech's Future" organised by the Cyberport Investors Network (CIN) and co-organised with China Prosperity Capital fund, attracted approximately 240 participants including venture capitalists, family office investors, and industry experts.  The event was opened by inspiring speeches from Johnny Chan, Chief Investment Officer of Cyberport, and Hendrick Sin, Chairman of Cyberport Investors Network and Founding Partner of China Prosperity Capital Fund.  They encouraged Cyberport start-ups to overcome obstacles, drive continuous innovation, and foster the development of the local and Greater Bay Area technology ecosystem.

This event marked its third time this year helping the Cyberport start-up community, Cyberport start-ups participated in the pitching sessions covering AI & Big Data, Cybersecurity, FinTech, Healthtech and Smart Living. The participating start-ups included Asiabots, Cyberbay, Gense Technologies, MixCare and Wizpresso and they had the opportunity to showcase their solutions in their respective domains.

Additionally, this event featured an exhibition where start-ups showcased their technology in the fields of AI, Insurtech, HR Tech and more, where they gained good exposures to investors and explored collaboration opportunities. The exhibitors included AIVI, Ambit Geospatial Solution, AnlanTech, Anlyvis, Ephod Intelligence, HealthyPAI, PortfoPlus, Pubrio and Workstem.

Cyberport will continue to facilitate connections between start-ups and investors, support the growth and development of more start-ups, leveraging synergies to inject new energy into the innovation and technology ecosystem.
