Asiabots’ AI ventures into Taiwan’s tourism industries and advances cognitive rehabilitation in Hong Kong

⋯⋯⋯⋯

Since its founding in 2017, Cyberport stary-up Asiabots’ AI and voice technologies have found widespread adoption across sectors, from healthcare, government, and finance to education, hospitality, and real estate.  Recently, the incubatee alumnus not only ventured into the automotive and tourism industries and strengthened its presence in Taiwan, it also achieved significant progress for cognitive rehabilitation here in Hong Kong.

In August, Asiabots customised its AI ambassador for Taiwan’s Farglory Ocean Park.  This intelligent system accurately interprets voice commands from guests and promptly addresses their inquiries about park activities, show schedules and directions, making their visits more enjoyable.

Meanwhile, back in Hong Kong, Asiabots collaborated with the Occupational Therapy Department at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.  They worked together to create a smart robot equipped with the start-up’s advanced AI systems to assist in the cognitive training of patients with mild cognitive impairments.  The results were remarkable, showing that the robot is capable of significantly reducing the time it takes for these patients to complete their training independently, marking a milestone in cognitive health.
