Cyberport showcased start-up innovations at “HICOOL 2024 Global Entrepreneurship Summit and Competition” in Beijing |
Cyberport has been actively promoting cooperation between Hong Kong and Beijing in the talent development of innovation. Recently, Cyberport led five start-ups to join the “2024 Beijing Tour For Hong Kong Talents” jointly organised by Hong Kong Alumni Association of Beijing Universities and Beijing Overseas Talents Center, and set up a booth in the“HICOOL 2024 Global Entrepreneurship Summit and Competition” at China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing during 23 to 25 August to showcase their solutions in FinTech, A.I, Smart Living, SocTech and Web3, etc. Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, also visited Cyberport booth to exchange with start-ups.
During the event, Dr Rocky Cheng, CEO of Cyberport, also attended a seminar to introduce the latest development of Cyberport and Hong Kong's vibrant tech ecosystem. Ronald Tse, Founder of MVisioner, an Cyberport Incubation Programme alumnus, participated in a roadshow for innovation achievements to promote collaborations between Beijing and Hong Kong.
