Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and manage signature events to exemplify Cyberport's position as the flagship for Hong Kong's digital tech industry and to promote its public mission

Assistant Manager - Corporate Communications (1-year contract) (Ref# AMCC-067-220712W)

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and implement publicity campaigns to promote the Company's mission and achievements through multiple communication channels
  • Develop, edit and translate a full range of Chinese and English PR materials, such as speeches, press releases, presentations, advertorials, annual reports, success stories of Cyberport companies etc.
  • Be the gate keeper of corporate PR messages 
  • Handle media enquiries; maintain good relationship with the media to maximise positive coverage for the Company
  • Work with different teams to formulate story angles, develop key messages and talking points for corporate events, industry activities and visits to ensure effective delivery of corporate positioning and messages 
  • Support senior executives for media activities and public speaking opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the production of corporate publications
  • Conduct research with regards to updates of industry trends and government policies
  • Engage the digital tech companies in Cyberport; support the promotion of their innovation and leverage on their work to raise the brand awareness of Cyberport
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

  • University degree in Languages, Translation, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • Good qualification in language subjects preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience across different communications functions, such as media relations, stakeholder’s engagement, copywriting, production of annual report and corporate literature etc.
  • Strong connection with local and regional media with proven track record in formulating story angles and conducting media pitching
  • Solid experience in planning and implementing integrated communication campaigns across different channels, both the traditional and new media platforms
  • Good understanding of the Innovation & Technology industry as well as related government policies
  • Exceptional command of written and spoken Chinese and English  
  • Detail-minded and independent with strong analytical mind
  • Team player and self-motivated with can-do spirit; able to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work within tight schedules

Programme Executive (1-year contract) (Ref# PEED220702W)

Key responsibilites

  • Support the team on events operation/ logistics and administration including Business Matching/ CEN/ CTN support, talks, exhibitions, conferences,etc.
  • Assist with administrative, technical & professional work related to the evens/ programmes including ensuring compliance with the appropriate guidelines, policies and internal approval controls
  • To liaise with external consultants / contractors / vendors as well as internal department to ensure the responsible programme implementation to meet the event timeline with quality deliverables
  • Handle application, enquiries and reporting of Cyberport Accelerator Support Programme
  • Prepare all purchasing requests and expense claims for programmes expenditure for ensuring compliance with the appropriated guidelines, polices and approved internal controls
  • To update reports, budgets, schedules, etc.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

  • Bachalor degree on business management, marketing, communications, public relations or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years experience of relevant experience in marketing or event management, preferrably gained in sizable/ MNC companies
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word processing.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and observe tight deadlines
  • High sense of urgency; strong executive skills; high accountable for results
  • Meticulous, independent, well-organised, proactive and mature
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated and attention to details
