Head of ICT (Ref# HICT231212W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to CFO
  • Be responsible fully for the strategy, planning and operation of Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) of the Company
  • Review and design team structure and resources, roles and responsibilities, services levels, criteria and management of outsourcing
  • Review and design ICT infrastructure, corporate system architecture, and Cybersecurity measures
  • Manage ICT staff teams, with a responsibility to recruit, evaluate, train, guide and provide discipline to them
  • Liaise with stakeholders such as board members, external services providers, internal management teams, and system users for effectiveness communication and execution
  • Plan, obtain approvals, implement, manage, support, and/ or upgrade/ migrate/ replace IT hardware, software and infrastructure
  • Manage effective security measures to minimise Cybersecurity risks
  • Develop and roll out ICT related Policies and Procedures for the Company
  • Enhance end-user convenience and satisfaction in using ICT systems and applications
  • Ensure the company has a suitable disaster recovery policy and adequate contingency plans
  • Keep up to date with latest and upcoming technologies, provide ICT advice, suggest appropriate ICT solutions, and assist stakeholders and users to achieve business targets via ICT tools
  • Create and manage budgets for the ICT department and related expenses

Requirements:

  • 15+ years solid experience in hands-on IT Management, in which 5+ years as Head of IT
  • Bachelor's degree or above in IT related fields
  • Strong experience in project management, implementing/ maintaining corporate ICT systems, applications, and Cybersecurity tools,
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex environment and issues for successful resolution,
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin),
  • Outstanding leadership, planning, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

The position is on a renewable 2-year fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs).

Senior Project Executive/ Project Executive - Smart Living (7-month contract) (Ref# SPESL231123W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support driving implementation plans across multiple projects including but not limited to “PROcruitC” Programme funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust 
  • Consolidate the progress review reports
  • Assist in Smart Living Cluster & Youth Development Programmes, including planning, executing and monitoring programmes and events which aim to nurture youth talents in pursuit of digital tech careers or entrepreneurship
  • Assist to develop strategic partnerships with local and overseas academic institutions, especially in higher education, and other industry players to groom youth talents for the Cyberport community
  • Assist to build a critical talent pool to facilitate matching between tech-enabled youths and employers in need of tech talents
  • Enhance bonding among Cyberport student & youth alumni and their engagement with the Cyberport community
  • Assist in project development, production and maintenance of promotional materials

Project Implementation & Budget Monitoring:

  • Assist in developing and implementing the programme and campaigns
  • Prepare and maintain a summary of programme applications
  • Independently schedule, arrange and handle meeting logistics
  • Review recipient’s project spending and prepare for payment
  • Assist in coordinating surveys, review meetings and programme activities
  • Manage overall budget and handle the keep records of expenses for the programmes

Other Administration Support:

  • Update the programmes statistical figures periodically
  • Organize and maintain a proper filing system for the programmes
  • Collect necessary data from the recipients, update and maintain the database
  • Composes administrative correspondence and drafts (external and internal) such as memos, letters, reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials and minutes
  • Analyze data and derive insights to enhance the quality of training and the effectiveness of various activities
  • Devise marketing plans or campaigns to cultivate success stories of those youth talents being nurtured
  • Support other initiatives of the Public Mission Team and perform any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in information Technology, Computer Science, Business System or related discipline
  • Strong project management skills
  • A relationship-builder and strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in PC skills, including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, and the use of graphics software is an advantage
  • Creative, analytical and well-organized
  • 2 years+ experience in project coordination and drive implementation of IT/ digital technology projects, or web-based and cloud-based business systems
  • 2 years+ in account management related to IT/ digital technology projects, or web-based and cloud-based business systems
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in relevant fields
  • Experience in negotiating and partnering with NGOs, Youth Associations, Government, digital tech associations, academic institutions and business enterprise
  • Less experience will consider appointing “Project Executive" position

The position is on a 7-month contract (subject to performance and operational needs).

Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications (Ref#AMCC231123W)

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and implement publicity campaigns to promote the Company’s mission and achievements through multiple communication channels
  • Handle media enquiries; maintain good relationship with the media to maximise positive coverage for the Company
  • Work with different teams to formulate story angles, develop key messages and talking points for corporate events, industry activities and visits to ensure effective delivery of corporate positioning and messages
  • Prepare PR write-ups such as advertorials, press releases, speeches, presentations, leaflets, etc.
  • Support senior executives for media activities and public speaking opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the production of annual report and corporate publications
  • Conduct research with regard to updates of industry trends and government policies
  • Engage the digital tech companies in Cyberport; support the promotion of their innovation and leverage on their work to raise the brand awareness of Cyberport
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • University degree in Languages, Translation, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • Strong connection with local and regional media with proven track record in formulating story angles and conducting media pitching
  • Solid experience in planning and implementing integrated communication campaigns across different channels, both the traditional and new media platforms
  • Good understanding of the Innovation & Technology Industry as well as related government policies
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Detail-minded and independent with strong analytical mind
  • Team player and self-motivated with can-do spirit; able to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work within tight schedules
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience across different communications functions, such as media relations, stakeholder’s engagement, copywriting, production of annual report and corporate literature etc.

The position is on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

Solution Executive - Entrepreneurship (Ref: SEE231114W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of a Government funding programme to expedite the pace of digital transformation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by providing funding support to SMEs in adopting digital solutions
  • Conduct application assessment, eligibility and due diligence checking for solution providers, and consolidate relevant documents
  • Provide support to funding applications, initial assessment of the funding applications assigned, and prepare the relevant reports and summary lists required
  • Handle administrative work and enquiries, prepare data analysis and statistical reports
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers   

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in IT
  • Diploma or above in IT related disciplines
  • Mature, self-motivated, flexible, able to work independently and meet tough deadlines
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in PC skill, including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and English/Chinese word processing  

The position is on a 1-year temporary contract.
