Manager – Business Development (Ref# MBDPT0428W)

We are now inviting high caliber individual to join the Partners Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships, and devise partnership programmes, with leading local and overseas associations, academic institutions and commercial enterprises to help digital tech start-ups explore and capture business opportunities in overseas/Mainland markets; 
  • Drive collaborations between local digital tech Industry and overseas/Mainland China counterparts and to promote Hong Kong as a leading digital tech city in the region; 
  • Steer and implement marketing plans/campaigns to promote Cyberport’s one-stop platform for start-ups and build up successful cases to share with public and interested parties; 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, or related discipline; 
  • Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in managing partner programs and/or marketing projects, preferably with experience in account management; 
  • Experience in digital tech or related sector with a good network of contacts; 
  • Experience in negotiating and partnering with Government, digital tech associations, academic institutions and business enterprises; 
  • Proven ability to gain maximum value with external partnerships, with effective people management and account management skills; 
  • Mature and independent, excellent communication and presentation skills; 
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; 
  • Willing to travel to overseas/Mainland China.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.

Company Secretary (Ref# CS0426W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the company secretarial function, reporting to the CFO; 
  • Assist in organising the Board and various Committee meetings, such as Executive Committee and Audit Committee, and prepare meeting agenda, meeting papers, resolutions, minutes, annual report and other corporate materials; 
  • Work closely with the management team and the Board of Directors; 
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant company legislations and regulations, and other statutory requirements; 
  • Maintain proper company secretarial records and legal documents; 
  • Provide regulatory advice and support for business initiatives and transactions; 
  • Put in place control measures and procedures to ensure the day-to-day compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements as well as corporate policies; 
  • Assist in reviewing contractual agreements on business transactions in the course of business.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in related discipline; 
  • Associate member of ICSA/HKICS; 
  • Minimum 10 years of company secretarial or legal experience gained from listed companies or professional firms; 

Cyberport Internship Programme (Ref# CIP16/FA/SM)

What is Cyberport Internship Programme?
We offer students to gain valuable experience and training during the summer/spring vacation or for a longer period (e.g. 12 months) as part of their curriculum requirement. Each selected candidate will be assigned a specific project and a mentor. Each project will have well defined deliverables, providing students with practical experience and learning objectives.

To join us, you need to have:
• A valid permit to work in Hong Kong SAR;
• A bachelor or advanced degree studentship continuing a full-time university degree course after the internship;
• Good academic results with a GPA of 3.0 or above, or equivalent;
• University endorsement that the internship programme is a part of the curriculum;
• Good communication skills;
• A good team player;
• Available full-time during the internship period.

Project Deliverables:
To report the invoices status of vendor payments;
To report the number of transactions and processing time in e-Workflow System.

• Serve as a strategic partner who works closely with the CEO, the Board and Committees to develop and deliver the company’s Public Mission strategies;

Partners Team aims to facilitate partnerships and alliances between Hong Kong's ICT SMEs and global enterprises to achieve mutual success. It provides business support to ICT SMEs in Hong Kong to enable them to tap into the overseas and mainland China markets. The intern student will help to assist the event logistic and support the team members for the ICT Conference and Exhibitions.

Project Description:
• Assist in planning and implementation of various events and exhibitions
• Support the marketing and promotion activities, and on-site event management
• Maintain the subscriber database

Project Deliverables :
• Coordination with internal departments and event agencies to enhance communication and people management skills
• Following through the whole events to understand event management tactics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building and managing the brand of our Company, and driving brand awareness and brand preference in Hong Kong & overseas; 
