Chief Financial Officer (Ref# CFO1120)

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be part of the executive management team and work closely with the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for assessing organizational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy, at the same time provide professional support and strategic advice to the Board of Directors and the management team in the company’s strategic business development plan. You will develop and maintain capital budget, oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. You will also oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Secretary to the Board and various Committees such as Executive Committee and Audit Committee; draft Board and Committee papers; establish a well-coordinated and efficient secretariat for the Board and Committees; and provide executive support for the Board members;
  • Oversee the entire finance and accounting function of Cyberport Group Companies, assume full responsibility for the regional finance, accounting, taxation and company secretarial functions, fund raising, advise on financial structure and project development;
  • Direct and manage the financial and management accounting functions of the Company, including budgetary control, business planning and forecast, project management and asset management, etc;
  • Conduct timely financial and management reporting; as well as the budget and analysis to the board of directors;
  • Work closely with the management team and the board of directors and propose both strategic and operational plans;
  • Responsible for providing business advices and support to top management for business planning, expansion, strategic decision, budget forecasting and allocation, taxation, corporate governance etc.;
  • Liaise with external parties including auditors, lawyers and bankers;
  • Monitor corporate compliances & procurement, tax planning, treasury and statutory reporting activities;
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and budget sessions, project accounting, contracts review and improvement activities. Continual improvements of internal and financial controls, along with the streamlining of policies and procedures will be necessary;
  • Develop and monitor company policies and procedures;
  • Monitor and manage the progress of the Cyberport Project and report to the Legislative Council.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance and Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 10 years related solid experience in accounting & financial management, company secretarial and administration in accordance with corporate policies and procedures;
  • Experience in statutory body or quasi-government organisation would be an advantage;
  • Professional qualification of a recognized accounting body;
  • Strong analytical skill, capable to critically examine and analyse financial data with business sense;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, highly independent and motivated;
  • Practical experience in dealing with legal documents will be an advantage;
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete task within deadline;
  • Team player that is able to work with all areas of the business to identify and provide business improvement;
  • Excellent of spoken and written English, fluent in Putonghua.

Project Assistant (Ref# PACC1122)

We are now inviting high caliber individual to join our Collaboration Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist to update Programme policies and procedures
  • Assist in development, production and maintenance of promotional materials
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries for programme-related activities and events.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the recruiting campaigns and the related trainings of the programmes
  • Prepare and maintain summary of programme applications
  • Independently schedule, arrange and handle meeting logistics
  • Review recipients project spending and prepare for payment
  • Assist in coordinating of surveys, review meetings and trainings.
  • Prepare all purchasing requests and expense claims for Programmes expenditure
  • Update the Centre’s statistical figures periodically
  • Organize and maintain a proper filling system for the programmes
  • Collect necessary data from the recipients, update and maintain the database
  • Composes administrative correspondence and drafts (external and internal) such as memos, letters, reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials and minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in administration or equivalent
  • 1 year relevant working experience preferable, fresh university graduates will also be considered
  • Knowledge of ICT industry is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of PC skill, including MS work, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill, well-organized and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently, good sense of responsible and good working attitude
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua

Engineer II (Ref# EII-TC1122)

We are now inviting high caliber individual to join the Technology Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team environment to provide support on cloud computing infrastructure installation and cloud management solution; handle users’ applications in the cloud platform
  • Maintain, support and operate mission-critical cloud computing platform for clients
  • Assist the team lead to conduct enhancement on cloud platform from time to time
  • Provide support to Cyberport Technology Center IT operations through appropriate maintenance for all servers and network equipment as well as peripherals
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and service personnel with respect to warranties and servicing

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science  or other technical qualifications
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in providing technical support and network engineering
  • First-hand experience on server operating systems including Linux and Windows
  • Technical background in managing enterprise storage systems and networking devices (preferably including software defined networking)
  • Prior experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Xen, KVM; preferable worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or OpenStack cloud based platforms
  • Good knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
  • Good knowledge of network (LAN, WAN and Wireless), Linux operation, Windows. Excellent presentation skill is a must.  Able to influence others through effective communication & interpersonal skills. Able to provide interesting and practical insights on technology development in products and solutions

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services on daily coordination relating to recruitment, training, payroll and benefits, administration and leave records
  • Maintain HR database and personnel records
  • Organize and oversee full range of office administration such as: maintain and enhance office facilities, office supplies, equipment, safety and procurement
