Programme Executive (Ref# PE180813W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Partners Team with overseeing the administration and implementation of partner programmes/ events
  • Liaise with external consultants / contractors / suppliers as well as internal parties to facilitate the smooth implementation of the programmes/ events
  • Organisation and reception of Cyberport guided tour for government and related public entities
  • Prepare all purchasing requests and expense claims for programmes expenditure for ensuring compliance with the appropriated guidelines, polices and approved internal controls
  • Support the team’s ad hoc projects as required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, tourism and business related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in programmes / events management, preferably gained in sizable organisations
  • Well-organised and detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Mature, enthusiastic, self-driven and a good team player
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua

Assistant Company Secretary (Ref# ACS180809W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties to the group of companies, reporting to the Company Secretary (Senior Manager Level) and senior executives
  • Organise Board and Board Committees meetings, and prepare meeting agenda, meeting papers, resolutions, minutes, annual reports and other corporate reports
  • Work closely with the management team and the Board of Directors
  • Assist in ensuring Board materials are properly prepared
  • Coordinate internal departments in ensuring all enquiries from regulatory bodies are properly addressed

Chief Corporate Development Officer (Ref# CCDO180730W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to CEO, CCDO will be responsible for corporate business development, corporate communications and marketing, public relations, building partnership locally and globally, attracting anchor tenants and building strong business and community relationship
  • Provide deep insights into digital tech market trend, product and service demands, industry structure, players and stakeholders for the formulation of corporate development plan and strategy
  • Recruit cluster and anchor tenants with a strategic account acquisition approach, working closely with the Partnership and Cluster Excellence teams on strategic tenant sourcing and identification
  • Formulate and execute marketing plan to attain optimal leasing revenues of office, Smart Space and retail while balancing the needs for revenue generation, branding effect with big-name tenants and the development of the digital tech ecosystem based on clusters
  • Develop and cultivate local and global network of business partners to accelerate the growth of the company and local digital entrepreneurs
  • Organize corporate marketing programs and world-class signature events to nurture digital tech startups and to promote Cyberport as a local and international digital tech innovation hub
  • Lead corporate communications in supporting the Chairman and C-levels in public relations activities and proactively seek media engagement opportunities to uplift public awareness on the public mission of Cyberport
  • Develop integrated communications and community engagement programs to build an on-campus community covering the tenants and working population of Cyberport office as part of the Cyberport’s digital tech ecosystem
  • Broaden the revenue base of HKCMCL with new revenue sources like event sponsorship and advertising space sales

Requirements:

  • Degree in technology, business or related discipline. MBA or a Master degree in related discipline is preferable
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as senior management
  • Experience in business development, handle strategic partnerships and work with large enterprises (Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas)
  • Strong media relationship, excellent interpersonal skills, good leadership and management with superb planning, organizing, execution and communications skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous and well-organized with strong planning capability
  • High sense of urgency; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective people management and excellent customer services skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a sophisticated environment and deadline driven environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, including writing business reports and proposals, and delivering same to Board or other bodies as required

  • Assist senior management in managing business development initiatives with external parties and business partners

Senior Manager – Venture Investments (Ref# SMVI180802W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research potential investment targets, markets, and sector trends, and contribute to fund level thinking and strategy
  • Originate and execute deal transactions by, but not limited to, active participation in the Cyberport start-up community, frequent attendance of events, panels, and discussions
  • Manage co-investors, connect target companies to co-investors, and negotiate investment terms, if necessary
  • Pro-actively conduct due diligence, working with professional parties, and handle all aspects of new transactions, including drafting of investment reports with thorough strategic and financial analysis, valuation models and recommendations, and identifying exit potentials
  • Review and amend all related legal documents throughout the execution process for each potential transaction
  • Define and execute on systems/processes to establish a portfolio of Cyberport companies from an investment perspective
  • Assist in the management of the portfolio of investments, but not limited to forecast of the changes in financial position, review and assess the liquidity of assets and the fund planning or arrangement
  • Prepare fund and periodical reports for management
  • Assist Cyberport management on adhoc projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in a business-related discipline from a leading university
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience, with at least 3 years related to venture investment, private equity, M&A or corporate finance
  • Solid experience in origination and execution of transactions
  • Prior buy-side equity investment transactions experience is a must.
  • Ability to lead equity transactions independently with relevant knowledge on operational, financial and legal due diligence and the completion process for start-up investments.
  • Strong analytical, due diligence, and financial modeling skills; ability to analyse and value businesses
  • Ability to write and deliver, in English, high-quality Board, strategy and other position papers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Strong work ethics and demonstrated commitment to excellence
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong team player, able to work effectively in a team environment

Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting (Ref# AMFA180809W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial reporting and prepare cash flow forecasts, analytical reviews and management reports 
  • Manage accounts receivable / payable functions and closely monitor bad debts and conduct credit control procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with different business teams in order to capture new application needs and change/enhancement requests for the existing applications
  • Develop the functional enhancement specifications according to business needs
  • Participate in new project planning, business case preparation and project implementation
  • Ensure applications meeting corporate compliance and security standard
  • Act as Level 1 application support subject matter expert of Cyberport applications

  • First-class knowledge of the latest trends in FinTech worldwide
  • Familiar with FinTech and digital technology investment industry
  • Effective and articulate communicator, ability to work effectively with the C-suite of financial services institutes and digital technology firms
  • Prior engagement in local and global digital start-up ecosystems is preferable
  • Demonstrated experience of leading cross-functional project teams to achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and multi-faceted working environment
  • Solid project management and excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
