Marketing Executive (Ref# MEYT0707W)

We are now inviting high caliber individual to join the Youth Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, developing and implementing of different youth team programmes and events, leading school tours, etc. 
  • Provide innovative ideas for marketing promotion activities 
  • Coordinate with different partners, educational institutions and industry associations 
  • Support to the team for setting up events, school programmes and school tours as planned

Requirements:

  • University graduates in marketing, communications, administration or related disciplines. Fresh graduate or with less working experience will also be considered 
  • Experience in working with schools, educational institutions and industry associations is preferable 
  • A highly motivated and committed individual and team player 
  • Some experiences in managing external agencies and vendors in event management, and also the production of marketing collaterals of various forms 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill 
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; good Mandarin is an advantage

Senior Manager – Partners (Ref# SMPT0629W)

Reporting to the Chief Public Mission Officer, you will be accountable for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, nurture and sustain strategic partnerships with leading local, mainland China and global ICT ecosystems to drive the Cyberport’s public missions to success 
  • Leverage on local, mainland China and global partners to effectively nurture and grow Cyberport’s startups and communities 
  • Communicate and coordinate project activities with government officials or other agencies 
  • Potentially act as Chief Representative of our representative offices in mainland China 
  • Identify and manage public and private funding resources 
  • Facilitate marketing department to build successful stories on Cyberport’s public missions to share with public and interested parties

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline; MBA is preferable 
  • Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in managing partner programs and/or marketing projects, publicity campaigns and events 
  • Experience in ICT or related sector with a good network of contacts locally and internationally  Experience in negotiating and partnering with Government, IT / ICT business associations and academic institutions 
  • China working experience, fluent Putonghua and willing to travel to PRC and overseas 
  • Experience in startups communities in Hong Kong and worldwide is preferable 
  • Ability to lead, drive and manage a team with dynamic works in a fast pace 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic marketing plans to exceed objectives 
  • Self-starter creative thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity; evidence of a strong drive to exceed expectations 

Head of Macro Fund (Ref# HMF0627W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and execute deal transactions 
  • Research potential targets, markets and sector trends 
  • Work with co-investors and negotiate investment terms with investees 
  • Prepare investment reports for Investment Committee, which include thorough strategic and financial analysis for each potential investment with valuation models and recommendations 
  • Conduct full due diligence for each potential investment 
  • Manage the portfolio of investments, not limited to forecast of the change in financial position, review and assess the liquidity of assets and the fund planning or arrangement 
  • Identify exit opportunities 
  • Attend board meetings of the investees 
  • Manage the fund and periodically reports to management 
  • Monitor the key performance indicators pertaining to the investment fund 
  • Assist the management in managing assigned duties and projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant disciplines 
  • MBA and Professional qualification such as CFA or CPA preferred 
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with at least 7 years related to venture investment or corporate investment 
  • Solid experience in origination and execution of transactions 
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; ability to analyse and value businesses 

  • Clear understanding of the trends and working culture of digital technology 
  • Some knowledge of funding systems and proposal preparation 
