Manager – FinTech Ecosystem (Ref# MFE190417W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and lead FinTech-specific programs to engage the stakeholders in FinTech ecosystems worldwide
  • Meet clients and attend industry events on behalf of the company; discuss with potential partners on business collaboration
  • Work with cross-organisational teams to implement Cyberport FinTech strategy
  • Nurture and support FinTech start-ups in Cyberport community to grow into mainland China and international markets
  • Attract and acquire local, mainland China and international FinTech start-ups and anchor leaders to join Cyberport community
  • Bridge FinTech start-ups with financial services institutes for innovation collaboration
  • Organize local & oversea FinTech events
  • Conduct FinTech survey and reports with strategic partners, produce & generate monthly reports and generic administrative support

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in Finance/Fintech industry and preferably with at least 2 year experience in financial industry
  • Experience in digital tech or related sector with a good network of contacts
  • Well-connected and close follower of industry development and trends;
  • Experience in negotiating and partnering with Government, digital tech associations, academic institutions and business enterprises
  • Proven ability to gain maximum value with external partnerships, with effective people management and account management skills
  • Mature and independent, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Willing to travel to overseas/Mainland China

Head of Ecosystem and Collaboration (Ref# HEC190417W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to work closely with the Chief Public Mission Officer and the Committees to develop global ICT ecosystems and deliver the strategic priorities
  • Potentially act as Chief Representative of our representative offices in mainland China for partnership development
  • Identify and manage public and private funding resources as part of Cyberport public mission
  • Communicate and coordinate strategic projects with government officials or other agencies
  • Lining up partnerships for facilitating inbound and outbound digital tech startups with business matching and market access opportunities in Hong Kong and overseas
  • Responsible for organizing investor engagement platforms to help Cyberport’s startups to secure investments needed to scale up their business
  • Responsible for organizing Cyberport visits, events and programs as platform to provide startups with business matching and investor engagement opportunities
  • Responsible for managing and developing Mainland China partnership strategies to grow Cyberport’s startups and communities
  • Strategize and execute enterprise collaboration and SME digitalisation programs to adopt digital tech solutions of Cyberport’s startups, fostering the digital transformation of Hong Kong
  • Build cross-functional capability to achieve cluster excellence and strengthen engagement with strategic cluster stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration or related discipline; candidate with an MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience with substantial management experience
  • Well-connected and close follower of industry development and trends
  • Strong passion in developing companies and clusters to make them successful in the industry
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills, capable of critically formulating, examining and analyzing business strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable, highly independent and motivated
  • Excellent in spoken and written English, fluent in Putonghua
  • Strong leadership skill with proven track records in building teams to achieve excellent results

Manager – IT Operations (Ref# MITO190412I)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist Senior Manager, ITO managing the Network Operation Centre (NOC) Operator to ensure all IT&T services are provided to Cyberport community users and in-house users in a coordinated, effective and complementary manner
  • To provide system administration and database administration of enterprise systems
  • To plan, develop and implement the IT hardware and infrastructure budget and obtain competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
  • To stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for HKCMCL to take advantage of new technology
  • To develop hardware and network implementation plans to align with the growth of Cyberport and HKCMCL
  • To liaise with equipment suppliers and service personnel with respect to warranties and maintenance services
  • To develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorised use, acts of nature and user abuse
  • To develop and monitor KPIs to assess technological performance

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in technical support and network engineering.  Rich experience in various technologies including operating systems, networking, telecommunications and data center operation and experience in video engineering; digital video and audio engineering
  • Experience on Windows and Linux Platform, Database (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), including Windows Active Directory knowledge and network solution (Cisco and Juniper routers/switches/firewall)
  • Experience on cloud computing platform (Hyper-V, KVM, etc) is a strong plus
  • Proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proven track record in effective project management
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
  • Responsible on reporting to related parties, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Immediate available is highly preferred

Human Resources and Administration Officer (Ref# HRAO190423W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full spectrum of support for HR functions in the areas of support for recruitment, training and development, benefits management and HRIS
  • Deliver timely and value-added HR services to internal clients to ensure consistent and sound people management
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of human resources and administration budgets
  • Handle human resources and administration payment requests, working closely with procurement and finance and accounting
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly HR reports
  • Organise internal staff training and team building activities

Requirements:

Project Assistant (Ref# PA190418W)

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting the recruitment of Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) and Cyberport Incubation Programme (CIP). Major tasks included:

Programme Development

  • Assist to update Programme policies and procedures
  • Assist in development, production and maintenance of promotional materials
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries for programme-related activities and events

Programme Implementation

  • Assist in developing and implementing the recruitment campaigns of the programmes
  • Prepare and maintain summary of programme applications
  • Independently schedule, arrange and handle meeting logistics
  • Review recipients project spending and prepare for payment
  • Assist in coordinating of surveys, review meetings and trainings

Project Budget Monitoring

  • Prepare all purchasing requests and expenses claims for Programmes expenditure

Other Administration Support

  • Update the Centre’s statistical figures periodically
  • Organise and maintain a proper filling system for the programmes
  • Collect necessary data from the recipients, update and maintain the database
  • Composes administrative correspondence and drafts (external and internal) such as memos, letters, reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials and minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • University graduate in all disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience with interest in ICT entrepreneurship and start-up incubation programmes
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Proficient in PC skill, including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing etc.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with good sense of responsibility
