Assistant Manager – Business Development (Ref# AMBDCC0203W)

We are now inviting high caliber individual to join the Collaboration Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive local ICT Industry to collaborate with overseas and Mainland China counterparts and to promote Hong Kong as a leading digital city in the region; 
  • Assist to develop strategic partnerships with leading local and overseas ICT industry associations, academic institutions and financial institutes to help ICT SME companies explore and capture business opportunities in overseas and Mainland markets and expansion of enterprise network and partnership programmes; 
  • Steer marketing plans / campaigns to build up successful stories on Cyberport’s public missions to share with public and interested parties.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline; 
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in managing partner programs and/or marketing projects, publicity campaigns and events; 
  • Experience in ICT or related sector with a good network of contacts, and with China experience is preferable; 
  • Experience in negotiating and partnering with Government, ICT business associations, academic institutions and financial institutes; 
  • Self-starter creative thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity; evidence of a strong drive to exceed expectations; 
  • High sense of urgency; strong executive skills; high accountable for results; 
  • Effective people management and excellent customer services skills; 
  • Proven ability to gain maximum value with external partnerships; 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Good command of written and verbal English and Chinese.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years. We offer competitive package to the right candidate.

Senior Marketing Executive (Ref# SME1224W)

This position will be under our Corporate Marketing team:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support marketing programmes, tech events and campaigns with respect to corporate and public mission strategies; 
  • Work closely with internal departments, Cyberport community, industry partners, agencies and suppliers in coordination and monitoring of event management and sponsorships; 
  • Drive and liaise tour visit programmes for Cyberport; 
  • Assist in project planning and development, and monitor progress through regular reviews and reports;
  • Manage electronic, online and campus promotion channels; 
  • Produce monthly e-newsletter and other marketing collaterals; 
  • Consolidate and upkeep programme information and company database.

Requirements:

  • University graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or related disciplines; 
  • Prior experience in marketing or branding is a plus; 
  • Solid experience in corporate marketing, event management and managing external agencies or vendors in production of marketing collaterals; 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external parties at all levels; 
  • A highly motivated and committed individual and team player who has a good track record in marketing and communications and is dedicated to delivering high quality results; 
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
