Coding has become a new movement around the world. This year, a massive campaign called the Hour of Code introduced over 12 million students across the globe the basics of coding. While code education is on its way, Hong Kong has recently announced a Digital 21 IT Strategy document, outlining "Programming in Every Child's Education" in the coming years.

Cyberport Let's Code Day, organized by Cyberport and Let's Code (HK), is taking the first step on a journey to encourage local interest in the field by providing a platform for students to show off their creative flair, as well as far academics and industry professionals to exchange idea and experience.
