Hong Kong Open Source Conference (HKOSCon) established in 2013, which is aimed to organise a global annual tech conference in Hong Kong for Open Source Developers, Users and Promoters, to promote and support the use, development and contribution of Open Source and Technology. HKOSCon also brings overseas open source developers and speakers to gatehr in Hong Kong.

Theme in HKOSCon 2016 are Internet of Things (IOT), Data Science, Cloud Computing and DevOps. Topics and speakers will be proposed by potential speakers through Call For Proposals (CFP) process in February, which will be selected by Program Committee of HKOSCon this year in March.
