Cyberport co-organizes the first Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day |
Cyberport is co-organizing its first ever "Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day
2012" with the Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Education Association, an
all-day event on 29 September designed to promote marine conservation.
All participants will attend an underwater robotics workshop in the morning
before competing in a contest in the afternoon.
Around 50 teams including kindergarten and primary students together with
participating parents and teachers will be responsible for designing their own
robots and then completing the assigned task themed around marine conservation
within a specified timeframe.
Aside from the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and two Honourable Mention awards, other
categories include Best Team Spirit, Best Green Award, JM Science Award, and the
"Best-Like" Award, to be voted on by members of the public at the Hong Kong
International Science Fair 2012 on 8 & 9 October.
Come and show your support for marine conservation and take this unique
opportunity to learn underwater robots with fun!
