Overseas Collaborations
During the year, we engaged in various international events in
order to enhance our global presence and foster collaborative
relationships with international companies.
US
Having established a solid collaboration network in Silicon
Valley, we continued to expand our presence there with our
partners. These included investors such as TiE, Archimedes Lab,
GSR Ventures, Right Ventures; world-class incubators and
accelerators, including 500Startups, Plug and Play Tech Center
and InnoSpring; and other industry players Hua Yuan Science
and Technology Association, Ding Ding TV, TechCrunch,
CrunchBase and Silicon Dragon Ventures.
In June 2013, we joined the Hong Kong Trade Development
Council to lead an ICT delegation to Silicon Valley, New York
and Los Angeles. The 47 representatives from 32 corporations
in Hong Kong, Guangdong and Shanghai took part in 6
seminars, 105 business matching events, 42 angel investor
sessions, 11 corporate visits and 5 networking events.
