Japan
Throughout the review period, we collaborated closely with the
Knowledge Capital Association (Knowledge Capital), a centre
for intellectual creation in Osaka, on a number of events,
including “Cyberport x Knowledge Capital EXCHANGE
GATEWAY” in Osaka on 18–19 July 2013, with a networking
luncheon and digital entertainment seminar. 22 rounds of
business matching between Hong Kong and Japanese
companies were conducted.
The collaboration with Knowledge Capital contributed to
successful launch of “Carbon Raider” in Japan. “Carbon Raider”
is a product of XNT Limited, Cyberport incubatee alumni, which
soft-landed in Osaka, Japan.
Cyberport also led 3 students and Pat Lee as a judge to attend
“International Students Creative Award 2013” during 29-30
November 2013 in Osaka. Organised by Knowledge Capital, it
is an international award contest for Japanese and foreign
university students to nurture creative ideas and future talents.
