How to join Cyberport Incubation Programme

Cyberport Incubation Programme accepts applications all year round, applications received will be processed in two batches. Follow the submission process below to apply.

Only documents signed by the principal applicant or by a company director or shareholder will be processed.

Application process

First complete the Cyberport Incubation Programme Application Form (Doc.Ref. ENC.SF.040) and submit it to us online here.

After you have submitted the online application, mail us the physical copy of the signed application forms and all requested supporting documents, to the address below:

How we select incubatees

Cyberport Incubation Programme applications are evaluated by an independent vetting team that includes venture capitalists, academics, industry veterans and trade association members. They select participants according to five criteria:

Management team ability (20%)

The quality and competence of the project management team reflected by track record, execution ability, probability of launch to market, individual qualifications, and team roles.

Project creativity and innovation (20%)

Factors considered are the innovative application of technology, creative solutions, disruptive potential, emerging, or breakthrough problem-solving technology.

Market viability (30%)

Includes clarity of vision and direction, short and long term objectives, market demand, target market and marketing strategy, and realistic assessment of project viability.

Benefit to Hong Kong’s digital tech industry (10%)

Potential to benefit digital tech sector, including public, academic and commercial interests. Also the benefit to society as a whole.

Proposed six monthly milestones after admission (20%)

The schedule for completion of major deliverables. Objective metrics for milestones and progress markers.
