Cyberport Incubation Programme Alumus Gense Technologies Collaborates with EC Healthcare to Build Healthy Communities
In the Asia Summit on Global Health 2024, Cyberport Incubation Programme alumnus Gense Technologies signed a partnership agreement with EC Healthcare, a non-hospital medical service provider. With Mediscan, a medical imaging device developed by Gense Technologies, they will collaborate in building healthy communities.
Mediscan is a portable Internet of Things (IoT) health screening device that connects with a monitoring strip, a dedicated device, and a mobile application. It effectively monitors the health indices of internal organs such as the lungs, liver, and kidneys, enabling users to conduct early detection tests conveniently. With its integration into EC Healthcare medical network, it can help users detect potential health risks at an early stage and prevent diseases.
The collaboration between Gense Technologies and EC Healthcare promotes the development of community healthcare. Our smart living community at Cyberport will continue to drive the development of HealthTech and contribute to society.
Alpine Intelligence Medical Enhances Primary Healthcare with Tele-specialist Services
Alpine Intelligent Medical Corporation Limited (“AIM”), a Cyberport incubatee, applies AI and other advanced medical technologies to assist individuals and medical practitioners in analysing symptoms, selecting treatment options, as well as facilitating insurance-related procedures. In addition, AIM has developed a range of functional modules for earlier diagnoses, more precise treatments, better prognoses, and improved rehabilitation and chronic disease management.
Cyberport Incubation Programme Alumnus Roborn Enhances Efficiency in HealthCare with Smart Robots
Roborn introduced the second-generation smart robot, CARE, which is being tested in collaboration with government hospitals to further enhance the efficiency of medical work. CARE not only performs complex mechanical tasks in ICU wards but also allows doctors to operate remotely, reducing the time spent travelling to patient rooms and enabling a better understanding of patients' needs. CARE helps alleviate the work pressure on healthcare professionals, enhances coordination between hospitals and medical staff, and provides patients with more efficient and appropriate treatment. This is a significant step forward in the development of intelligent healthcare applications in Hong Kong.
