Cyberport Creative Micro Fund Professional Programme (“CCMF PP”) supports innovation and early-stage development by sponsoring HK$100,000 grant and providing all-round nurturing to high potential digital tech projects and early-stage start-ups with business elements. Project can be at idea stage or early stage development with minimum viable product (MVP)/prototype.

Program benefit

Apart from cash grant, CCMF gives you access to Cyberport's extensive resources and support for innovators and entrepreneurs, including:
  • Incubatees or graduates of Cyberport's other programmes
  • Cyberport Smart-Space companiesc
  • Cyberport office tenants
Successful completion of CCMF programme may increase your chance of acceptance to our Cyberport Incubation Programme.

Eligibility

Open to applicants aged 18 or above upon application deadline. There are two type of application :
  • Individual Application: principal applicant must be Hong Kong ID holder or;
  • Company Application: a registered company limited by shares and incorporated in Hong Kong (or in progress of incorporation) upon admission
Notes:
(1) If the principal applicant is non-local, welcome to apply Company Application. The successful company applicants are required to setup a limited company registered and incorporated in Hong Kong once admission.
(2) CCMF is counted in project base, same or similar project shall only be applied Professional Programme (CCMF-PP) or Hong Kong Young Entrepreneur Programme (CCMF-HKYEP) in the same intake.

FAQ

Does the Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme have programme co-organisers?

The programme co-organisers include Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council (HKITJC), PKU-HKUST Shenzhen-Hong Kong Institution , The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Union for Promoting Science and Technology and the Guangdong Software Industry Association (GDSIA), Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre and The Association for Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau.

This programme is receiving support from Hong Kong and Guangdong governments, ICT industry, education industry, youth and entrepreneurship organisations.

If I do not have any idea nor team, could I apply?

Yes. 1st stage application is to be done on an individual basis. You may form teams during or after the entrepreneurship boot camp. Moreover, mentors, start-ups, entrepreneurs and applicants that you will meet during the boot camp and online platform may inspire you with creative ideas. You may also join others' team and work on their projects.

How to apply the programme if I currently have a team?

Each team member should submit their own 1st stage application online. During the entrepreneurship boot camp, you may recruit new members to your team.
