Cyberport offers a continuously evolving range of I&T training, internship, and entrepreneurship programmes for students. These opportunities enable Hong Kong’s young people to unleash their innovative potential, develop critical skills, gain industry experience, and explore career paths in both Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, strengthening Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem with a robust talent pipeline.

Internship and Traineeship Programmes

  • GBA FinTech Two-Way Internship Scheme for Post-secondary Students
    (Organised in partnership with/Commissioned by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau)

    Offers two-to-six-month, full-time, subsidised internships at over 30 FinTech companies across GBA cities, including Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai. The programme nurtures talent and strengthens regional FinTech development through cross-city experience.

  • HYAB Youth Start-up Internship Programme
    (Organised in partnership with/Commissioned by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau)

    Offers 100 flexible internship positions (three-to-six months, full-time/part-time/mixed-mode) at innovative start-ups, including Smart Living pioneers, with immersive visits to GBA cities to learn about regional innovation ecosystems and career opportunities.

  • JC PROcruit C
    (Created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, with Cyberport as industry convenor)

    Provides one-year traineeships at Cyberport community companies for over 100 first-time jobseekers, allowing young talent to build work experience and launch their I&T careers, including in the growing Smart Living sector.

Innovation Experience Programmes

  • Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme

    Unites young innovators aged 18-30 from Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong for an entrepreneurship bootcamp and cross-city team projects, allowing participants to develop their start-up ideas with industry mentors while gaining regional insights.

  • Student Mentorship Programme on Innovation and Technology
    (Organised in partnership with the Education Bureau)

    Pairs secondary and primary school students with Cyberport start-ups to develop innovative projects.

  • STEM+E competition
    (Jointly organised with the STEM+E Consortium and HKSTP)

    Challenges students across the Greater Bay Area to reimagine start-up solutions to address real-world community needs.

Career Opportunities

  • Cyberport Career Fair

    Connects job seekers and over 1,700 I&T vacancies offered by more than 200 start-ups, tech companies, government departments and major corporations. The hybrid annual event also offers job matching, career workshops, CV clinics, forums, career talks, consultation sessions, and other services to boost job search success and facilitate career advancement.
