Education & Training

Shaping the future of learning and professional training powered by adaptive technologies and innovative teaching methods

As society rapidly evolves, our education system must adapt accordingly by continuously enhancing the learning environment. This includes embracing innovative technologies and educational tools to improve the quality of education, cultivate future talent with global competitiveness, and further promote Hong Kong’s development as a leading international education hub.

Education Technology (EdTech), driven by AI, Data Science, and other emerging technologies, enables personalised learning experiences for students and streamlined operations for educators and institutions. The possibilities for development are vast, and opportunities are plentiful within EdTech.

Start-ups are now leveraging AI and Data Science to enable adaptive teaching, ensuring every student is supported at their optimal pace and learning style. Immersive virtual classrooms and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) modules are transforming traditional classrooms, while blockchain solutions provide tamper-proof digital credentials and academic certifications. Start-ups have also created secure e-learning platforms and digital school management systems that engage parents, teachers, and schools for streamlined communication and administration.

With these encouraging results, Cyberport is committed to nurturing EdTech start-ups through incubation, acceleration programmes, strategic partnerships and market access. It regularly matches start-ups with educators and schools to facilitate knowledge exchange, encourage innovative solution adoption, and inspire solution co-creation, ensuring that Hong Kong remains at the forefront of educational innovation and excellence in the digital age.
