New Cyberport Community Cloud
On 4 November 2013, we launched the “Cyberport Community
Cloud” — Hong Kong’s first-ever community cloud.
A community cloud is a technology that allows users from
similar organisations with similar concerns, such as security and
compliance, to share resources and therefore enjoy better cost-
efficiencies. With the Cyberport Community Cloud, tenants and
start-ups are finding it easier to manage, monitor, automate
and maintain their systems.
This new cloud technology offers easy-to-use, self-provisioning
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to all tenants, incubatees, CCMF
grantees, Smart-Space companies, alumni and Collaboration
Centre service subscribers. More than 300 registrants can
leverage the Cyberport Community Cloud at one time to deploy
scalable and flexible computing resources according to their
actual requirements.
Other Software as a Service (Saas) applications, such as
rendering and film restoration software, have been provided to
support the industry and student competitions. A mobile
Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution is currently in the pipeline
and will be ready in the near future.

社區雲是一種能讓業務性質相近並有相同關注
（如對數據保安及合規）的機構共享資源及服
務，從而達致具成本效益的科技。數碼港社區
雲的推出，讓租戶及初創企業更易管理、監
察、自動化及維護公司的系統。
此項新雲端科技為數碼港所有租戶、受培育公
司、受「數碼港創意微型基金」資助的公司、
Smart-Space
公司用戶、培育計劃畢業生及協
作中心企業用戶提供簡易的自助式基礎設施即
服務
(laaS)
。數碼港社區雲可同時支援超過
300
名登記用戶，用戶可因應需要，靈活部署雲端
運算資源。
數碼港社區雲亦提供製作及影片修復軟件等其
他軟件即服務
(SaaS)
應用程式，支援業界及學
界。科技中心目前正在籌備另一個平台即服務
(PaaS)
的流動技術解決方案，將於不久將來推
出。
