Social Media and Big Data Seminar and Symposium
In May 2013, we joined the Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology-NIE Social Media Lab to co-host a seminar
“Cyber-physical and Mobile Social Media for Advertising,
Edutainment and Games” at Cyberport. Pioneers in the field as
well as speakers from world-class institutions and local
industries, such as Nokia, the Oxford Internet Institute and Intel-
NTU Research Center, discussed the latest social media
technology applications for advertising, edutainment and
games.
We also participated in a two-day symposium and student
competition “Social Media, Big Data and Cloud: Trends and
Issues in Asia” organised by the Hong Kong University of
Science and Technology in October 2013.

和來自諾基亞、牛津大學互聯網研究所及英特
爾台大研究中心等國際知名機構，及本港業界
的講者就社交媒體科技應用在廣告、教育娛樂
及遊戲上的最新發展激盪交流。
數碼港亦參與了香港科技大學於
2013

月舉
行，為期兩天，以「
Social Media, Big Data and
Cloud: Trends and Issues in Asia
」為題的座談
會及學生比賽。
