Collaboration with the OpenStack Foundation
As the coordinator of the Hong Kong OpenStack User Group,
Cyberport together with other renowned ICT organisations,
supported and initiated thought-provoking technology events
in support of the development and adoption of cloud
computing among local professionals.

一系列富啓發性的技術交流活動，積極支持本
地專才發展和採用雲端運算技術。
OpenStack Summit Hong Kong 2013
The OpenStack Foundation, a global open-source software
community of 24 company members, 48 sponsors and over
12,000 individual members, promotes an open-source cloud
computing platform for public and private clouds that is easy to
implement, massively scalable and feature-rich. Among its
rapidly expanding base of users are companies such as
Bloomberg, Sina.com, PayPal and eBay.
The “OpenStack Summit Hong Kong 2013”, gathered more
than 3,000 developers from across the world converged on
Hong Kong to share ideas and knowledge from 5 to 7
November 2013. It is the biggest event of its kind in almost a
decade.
The Summit was initiated by Cyberport in collaboration with the
Internet Society of Hong Kong, it was the first time that the
OpenStack Foundation had chosen to host its international
conference outside the US.
