Our Highlights

Internal Private Network Brings Strength and Security
The Internal Private Network (IPN), Cyberport’s backbone for Internet access, is a unique IT and telecom facility unlike standard market broadband products, with 20 Gbps Ethernet uplinks and pay-as-you-go bandwidth to accommodate unanticipated increases in user demand. Tenants receive two IPN ports at 300 Mbps local shared bandwidth free of charge after a one-time installation fee and can subscribe for GE ports if higher or dedicated international bandwidth is required at a cost of only HK$1,000 per Mbps per month (up to 1 Gbps) through the Cyberport Optical Network.

IPN ports can support both IPv4 and IPv6. For IPv6 addresses, a prefix of 48 will be allocated upon request at no additional charge. For IPv4 addresses, a dynamic private IP address will be provided by DHCP at no additional charge. If a fixed public IP address per port is required, HK$120 per month per fixed IP will be charged. (APNIC regulations restrict us to 16 public IP addresses per tenant; any requests beyond this must be submitted via NOC and HKCMCL to APNIC for prior approval.)

Central Data Exchange for Unrivalled Capacity
The Central Data Exchange (CDX) is managed by a third party to provide tenants with a dedicated data centre operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, delivering an uptime of 99.95%, for secure and reliable hosting of computer equipment. For queries about CDX services, please send an email to tenantcdx@cyberport.com.hk with your company name, contact number, and basic requirements. An account manager will contact you as soon as possible.
