OPC Hub @ Cyberport

A Home for One-Person Companies in the Era of Agentic AI.

The OPC Hub @ Cyberport is a dedicated launchpad for a new generation of companies — AI-native teams and solo individuals who fluently leverage frontier technologies including GenAI, autonomous agents and blockchain to operate, compete and scale far beyond their size. The emerging model is widely regarded as the One-Person Company (OPC). This hub at Cyberport is a home for these OPC ventures: a single branded gateway that channels members through an integrated platform spanning workspace, compute, training, events, partnerships and community networks.

The OPC Initiative

The next-generation Internet, often referred to as Web4, builds on Web2’s connectivity and Web3’s on-chain ownership while introducing a defining new layer: autonomous agents powered by GenAI. These AI agents will redefine the Internet and transform our organizations by collaborating with humans and one another, executing tasks autonomously, transacting through programmable payments, and operating as first-class participants in a digital web and blockchain-linked economy.

Consequently, Agentic AI is changing what a company looks like: work that once required entire departments — research, customer support, software engineering, marketing operations — is increasingly delegated to AI agents, allowing AI-native teams and individuals (OPCs) to build and deliver at a scale usually associated with much larger companies.

A new shape of company calls for a new kind of hub. The OPC Hub @ Cyberport is Cyberport's response to this shift. It offers OPCs a turnkey package of modern workspace, AI inference tokens, cloud compute credits, AI security support, and a curated community of fellow agentic builders and partners — all under one roof.

OPC Hub @ Cyberport

The OPC Hub @ Cyberport is designed to nurture and empower OPCs in multiple ways:

Firstly, it is a modern working environment. The Hub is a dedicated zone at Cyberport, purposely-built around how OPC founders actually work. Members enjoy access to modern workstations, meeting rooms and event spaces, alongside the everyday amenities of the wider Cyberport campus. On top of the standard facilities, the Hub provides the first cohort of OPCs with dedicated workstation peripherals including external displays, docking hubs and input accessories to help them get started quickly with minimal setup requirements.

Secondly, it provides a supportive infrastructure for the era of agentic AI. Beyond physical space, the Hub connects founders to leading cloud platforms, blockchain and digital asset solutions, and support from our cybersecurity partners. Eligible members will be plugged into the resource pool and offerings, subject to respective arrangements. Please refer to the ‘OPC Member Benefits’ section below for more details.

Last but not least, it is built to be a community, delivered in collaboration with our hub partners, alongside the wider Cyberport ecosystem — including the Cyberport Investors Network (CIN), our entrepreneurship programmes, and industry stakeholders. Members may also be invited to a calendar of OPC-focused events from time to time — founder roundtables, demo days, technical deep-dives and showcases — with curated matching to the partners and programmes most relevant to their stack.

OPC Member Benefits

Every eligible OPC member receives a benefit bundle after onboarding, which includes access to selected cloud infrastructure, AI resources and cybersecurity guidance, subject to availability and relevant terms.

Firstly, members may select a welcome cloud compute package from one of the participating leading cloud providers, which may include AWS, Alibaba Cloud and BytePlus. The package provides, for a defined period, a meaningful allocation of complimentary cloud credits and AI token quotas, allowing each founder to select the platform that best fits their stack — whether the workload is LLM invocation, agent orchestration, or application development and hosting. OPCs qualified as high-potential startups may also receive further support and product discount from cloud providers.

The Hub also connects OPCs to Cyberport’s broader blockchain & digital asset  ecosystem, giving them a practical bridge into the emerging agentic economy. With exposure to partners across sectors such as public chains, wallets, digital identity, and programmable payments, OPCs can experiment with how autonomous agents interact, transact, and create value in blockchain-linked environments.

Building with AI agents introduces new categories of risk such as prompt injection, data exfiltration, agent-on-agent vulnerabilities and model misuse. Members may also receive AI security advisory supported by cybersecurity experts from our community, spanning both cybersecurity best practices and tooling (e.g. security, auditing and assurance tools).

Members may, subject to availability and conditions, receive media and publicity support from Cyberport’s media partners, including opportunities for exposure through relevant media channels and, where applicable, waiver or reimbursement of all or part of the related advertising or campaign fees. Members may also, from time to time, be invited to participate in demo days, showcases and other community events to present their products to relevant audiences. This benefit is intended to help OPCs build market awareness of their products and propositions.

OPC Eligibility

The following baseline requirements shall be considered for accepting eligible applicants to the OPC Hub:

  • Hong Kong Incorporation — the company is incorporated in Hong Kong, or can complete Hong Kong incorporation within 90 days of admission;
  • Years of Operation — the company has been incorporated for two years or less at the time of application;
  • Team Size — a solo founder, or typically a team of a few people;
  • Business — core business of the company and its team should align with the general requirements for Cyberport Smart-Space tenants

In addition to the baseline requirements above, applicants should meet at least one of the following three characteristics to demonstrate their AI-driven nature and relevance to the OPC Hub:

  • Agentic application for vertical industries — the company builds products, applications or artifacts that deeply leverage agentic AI for a specific vertical (for example finance, HR, legal, healthcare, logistics, education, or the creative industries); or
  • Agent economy linkage — the company connects agentic AI with blockchain or financial infrastructure — for example through programmable payments, on-chain agent identity, agent-to-agent value flows, or other building blocks of the agent economy; or
  • AI ecosystem builder — the company helps build the broader AI ecosystem by providing enabling tools, data, infrastructure, platforms, orchestration, agents, or other foundational services that support the development of modern AI technology and agentic applications.

Applicants do not need to be existing Cyberport members. Founders from Hong Kong and elsewhere globally are welcome to apply. For more details of the eligibility requirements, please check out the Guides and Notes for OPC Hub @ Cyberport.

How to Join the OPC Hub

The Hub uses a straightforward process designed to get qualifying founders settled in quickly:

1 · OPC Application via Email. Interested OPC applicants need to complete an OPC Application Form — a downloadable template covering business plan, vision, technology stack and how AI agents sit at the centre of the company — and send it by email to opchub@cyberport.hk. This information will help the OPC Hub team assess each application and consider which programme resources or ecosystem connections may be relevant, where appropriate.

2 · OPC Relevance Review. The application is reviewed against the OPC eligibility criteria, agentic AI relevance and standard Cyberport admission rules according to the application form. Cyberport aims to review applications as efficiently as practicable, but actual processing times may vary depending on volume of application received. Applicants may be asked for more information or be advised to consider joining the Cyberport community as standard Smart-Space tenants.

3 · Registration and Tenancy Process via the Smart-Space portal. Once the applicants receive positive feedback from the OPC Hub team, they will be guided to start an online tenancy application process through the Cyberport Smart-Space portal where they register, log in and submit a workstation request at the OPC Hub. The standard Smart-Space portal workflow then handles the following steps such as tenant background verification, OPC workstation allocation and fee payment.

4 · Onboarding and benefit activation. Successful applicants would be required to sign a standard tenancy agreement which marks the completion of the OPC application process. Once onboarded, they will receive the benefit bundle, select the option that best meets their needs, and activate the applicable offers with guidance from the relevant partners.

We warmly welcome applications from across the agentic AI ecosystem and look forward to building a thriving OPC community with you. Start your application by downloading the OPC application form below or contact opchub@cyberport.hk directly for enquiries, and we recommend reviewing the Guides and Notes before you apply.

Disclaimer: please note that the OPC Hub details, eligibility criteria, benefits, partner participation, resource availability and application arrangements may be updated as deemed necessary at Cyberport’s discretion.
