Cyberport supports digital technology talents through entrepreneurship programmes with a variety of funding, mentorship and support programmes. Meanwhile, Cyberport devotes resources to stimulating interests among the youth and unleashing their potential to realise entrepreneurial pursuits.

Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF)

A crucial launchpad for budding innovators, CCMF provides up to HK$100,000 in seed funding along with mentorship, training, and business support, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into minimum viable products or prototypes. Several programmes are available, including Hong Kong Programme, Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme (GBA YEP) and Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP). 


Cyberport Incubation Programme (CIP)

CIP, including the CIP for Smart Living Start-ups, support entrepreneurs and start-ups with resources that aim to accelerate their growth. Through financial assistance of up to HK$500,000 and HK$200,000 on-site rental subsidy and extensive support – from mentorship – from mentorship to marketing assistance and business matching opportunities – budding entrepreneurs turn their solutions into scalable products to attract investors and business deals.


Cyberport Accelerator Support Programme (CASP)

CASP sponsors incubatees or alumni of Cyberport to join local, Mainland, and overseas accelerator programmes, with financial assistance of up to HK$300,000. Start-ups use the subsidy for accelerator programme fees, office rental, interns, travel and marketing expenses, as well as professional services fees.


Market Development Support Scheme (MDSS)

Expanding your market presence? MDSS helps CIP and CCMF community companies grow their businesses on the Mainland and beyond. With a subsidy of up to HK$200,000, MDSS enables start-ups to pursue their growth ambition and seize global opportunities.


Cyberport Macro Fund (CMF)

Connecting start-ups with smart money, CMF is a HK$400 million co-investment fund that invests between HK$1M to HK$20M in seed to Series A rounds and beyond in high-potential Cyberport start-ups, while catalysing strategic co-investments. To date, CMF has backed 28 start-up projects, generating combined investments and co-investments exceeding HK$1.94 billion.


Cyberport Networks

Cyberport promotes four strategic partnership networks to provide robust support to start-ups: the Cyberport Enterprise Network for diverse business opportunities, the Cyberport Investors Network for strategic venture capital, the Cyberport Technology Network for privileged technology access, and the Cyberport Professional Services Network for specialised professional services. Together, these networks pave the way for entrepreneurs to take their innovative ventures to the next level.


Opportunities for Students

Cyberport co-hosts and administers student entrepreneurship programmes to nurture young talent, allowing them to discover their potential within, develop critical skills, and gain industry experience.

Programmes include the GBA FinTech Two-Way Internship Scheme For Post-secondary Students (organised in partnership with/commissioned by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and over 30 FinTech companies), the HYAB Youth Start-up Internship Programme (organised in partnership with/commissioned by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau), Student Mentorship Programme on Innovation and Technology (organised in partnership with the Education Bureau), JC PROcruit C (created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust), and STEM+E Competition (jointly organised with the STEM+E Consortium and HKSTP).
